Matcha: History, Flavor, and Creation
Discover the fascinating world of matcha in an experience designed to learn, create, and enjoy one of Japan's most emblematic teas.
In this workshop, you will learn about the history and tradition of matcha, where it is grown and how it is produced, the different grades that exist, and how to identify authentic high-quality ceremonial matcha. We will also explore its properties and you will learn how to properly use traditional tools for its preparation.
We will prepare three delicious matcha recipes step-by-step, including a matcha latte, a fruit drink, and a refreshing cocktail (Matcharita). Additionally, you will enjoy a specially selected pairing for each preparation, so you can discover how flavors can complement and enhance the experience.
This workshop includes:
- Workshop guided by a Tea Sommelier.
- Literature and educational material.
- Complete set of tools for preparing matcha.
- 1 can of Ceremonial Matcha (30 grams).
- All ingredients to prepare the three recipes during the workshop.
